One person was injured after a crash involving a Pennsylvania State Police vehicle in South Middleton Township.According to Trooper Megan Frazer, state police responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Fairview Street around 3:35 p.m. As troopers responded to this incident, a state trooper was involved in a crash with an unrelated vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The trooper was not injured in the accident. State police secured the perimeter on Fairview Street and talked with the residents at the property. They determined a shooting did not happen at the location and there was no danger to the public. The investigation into the reported shooting is ongoing.
