READING, Pa. -Planned Parenthood Keystone, which has a location in Reading, is announcing a cutback in services to patients on Medicaid.
The group’s CEO blames the cuts on a provision in the legislation known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
She says patients insured through Medicaid are barred from using their insurance to get services from Planned Parenthood.
That includes services like cancer screenings and wellness exams.
She also says state law prohibits Medicaid-enrolled providers from charging Medicaid patients for services covered under the program.
