Northern Berks Regional PD names new chief | Berks Regional News

ONTELAUNEE TWP., Pa., – A sergeant with the West Reading Police Department has retired and is now taking on a new role.

Wayne Holben is now chief of the Northern Berks Regional Police Department, which covers Maidencreek and Ontelaunee townships and Leesport.

Holben briefly served as chief in West Reading.

Northern Berks Police Chief James Keiser led the department since 2021.
