Jennifer Sinclair-Moore believes in leading with integrity and doing the right thing for the people she serves. “My philosophy has always been that when you consistently do good work with genuine care, positive outcomes tend to follow,” said the owner/administrator of Sinclair’s Home Care, Lake Ariel.

In the day-to-day operations of the home care organization with 47 staff members tending to over 100 clients, Sinclair-Moore is committed to supporting every client with compassion, responsiveness, and the highest standard of care. ”My goal is to always ensure each individual receives the assistance and advocacy they need to live safely and comfortably at home,” she said.

Sinclair-Moore built her career through hands-on experience, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for serving others. Starting in the home health field allowed her to understand the needs of clients and staff from the ground up. “Over time, I took on increasing responsibility, sought out training opportunities, and developed the leadership and operational skills that led me to my current administrative role,” said the entrepreneur.

Her mentor has been a leader, Nancy Menapace, who truly believed in developing her team and took everyone under her wing and created an environment where Sinclair-Moore felt supported, valued, and empowered to grow. “Her leadership style had a lasting impact on how I approach supporting my own staff today. I will be forever grateful for having the opportunity to work under her,” she explained.

The businesswoman believes her success is attributed to loving what she does. “I genuinely care about the people I serve. I remain hands-on, I am willing to step in when needed, I continue to grow both professionally and as a leader,” she said.

“One of my proudest accomplishments is having both of my children join me in this work. Watching them carry forward the same values of service and dedication is deeply rewarding,”admits Sinclair-Moore.

The business owner serves as secretary on the board of Dress for Success Lackawanna, where she supports board governance and maintains official records. “In this role, I contribute to advancing the mission of empowering individuals toward economic independence,”she notes.

She also serves as a member of the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, where she supports initiatives that enhance patient experience and strengthens community engagement with the hospital.

Sinclair-Moore is honored to be recognized for the second time as one of the top 25 Women in Business. “The recognition not only reflects my efforts, but the incredible teams and communities I have the privilege to serve,” she noted.

As the owner of Sinclair’s Home Care, she is proud to be a 13-year, woman-run, locally owned business that remains deeply committed to providing personalized, high-quality service while building lasting relations with the individuals and families we support.
