A reminder: Erie’s winter parking rules will soon be back in effect.

The city will move to odd-even winter parking rules on Nov. 1. Those rules will stay in place until March 31.

Between Nov. 1 and March 31, parking will be limited to one side of the street in designated areas, depending on the date, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The odd-even rules regulate parking during the winter months to make it easier for city streets crews to plow snow.

According to city officials, odd-even winter parking rules are not in effect on Saturdays and Sundays, unless a snow emergency is declared.

If that is the case, city officials will enforce the rules through that weekend and the public will be notified.
