On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will soon say goodbye to its only restaurant in the Lehigh Valley.
The restaurant will hold its last day of service Friday at the Airport Shopping Center in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, according to a statement from Chief Marketing Officer Christina Pappas of Pappas Restaurants.
“Closing this restaurant will allow us to focus our time and resources on our other locations and the continued success of the brand,” Pappas said in the statement. “We remain committed to On The Border’s success through training, fresh food, and an intense focus on hospitality. We are incredibly thankful for the support of our Guests over the years. It has truly been our pleasure to serve this community.”
The Lehigh Valley restaurant opened in 2009. The only other Pennsylvania location is in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, the website listed.
