The City of Erie, Erie Philharmonic, Hagen History Center, Erie SeaWolves, Erie Playhouse, VisitErie, Erie-Western PA Port Authority, expERIEnce Children’s Museum, Erie Events, and the Erie Zoo will be holding a logo design contest for students’ grades K-12.
Students who live in the City of Erie can design an official logo for Erie 250: Light and Liberty on the Lake Celebrations.
Hand-drawn or digitally designed logos can be submitted with themes of patriotism and Erie pride. The winning logo will be used for all marketing materials throughout the celebration; accreditation will be given to the winning artist. The winner can join Mayor Devlin during the countdown of the fireworks on July 3. A prize basket with various free memberships and tickets from contest partners will also be given to the winner.
The contest begins March 11 and will continue until 12 p.m. on March 31. Winner will be announced on April 14 during the official City of Erie Summer Series Announcement.
