A popular breakfast spot in Pittsburgh has suddenly closed after 20 years in business.
Eggs-R-Us off Noblestown Road announced on social media while not planned, it did officially close this past weekend.
“I based the decision on what is best for me and my family,” the owner wrote on Facebook.
The owners said they didn’t want to have a long, extended goodbye.
“I knew saying goodbye would be too hard for me.”
“Turned everything off and locked the doors for the last time. I was a little sad, but also exited. I also realized that I get to keep all the truly important things. The smiles, laughter, tears, hugs and I love you’s. They belong to all of us.”
No word on if another eatery or business will take over the space now vacant next to the PA Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Noble Manor.
