Marlene Grattolino
OBITUARY
Marlene Grattolino, 87, of South Waverly, passed away quietly with family by her side on Sunday, March 8th, 2026 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. Her husband of 45 years is John Grattolino.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Alice Calander Masker. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a medical assistant and secretary.
Her belief in God guided her to be a person who loved unconditionally, show gratitude, practice patience and be a person of courage. Her final act was to be an organ donor through CORE, giving a number of people the gift of being able to overcome traumatic experiences that jeopardize their physical and mental well-being. This action on her part will allow them to continue once again productive lives.
She is survived by a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by several siblings.
Private funeral arrangements and interment in Cathedral Cemetery are under the care and direction of the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
