NEW HAVEN, CT — Monday, just after 5 p.m., police were called to Church and Temple streets for the report of a stabbing.

The victim, 32, who lives in Pennsylvania said while at a bus stop, he saw a man “with whom he had prior altercations,” according to police.

In a news release, police said the “suspect brandished a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim several times,” causing life-threatening injuries, and then took off on foot and got away.

The man who’d been stabbed was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he’s in stable condition, police said.
