After one disappointing season with the Eagles, veteran edge rusher Azeez Ojulari is moving on in free agency.

Ojulari, 25, is joining the Atlanta Falcons, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The Eagles signed Ojulari to a one-year, $3 million deal last offseason with the hope that he would become a contributor in their edge rusher rotation. That never happened.

Ojulari was with the team all season but played in just three games and played a grand total of just 67 snaps. Ojulari in 2025 didn’t have a sack and had just one quarterback hit in his limited action.

Ojulari was inactive for five of the Eagles’ first eight games before landing on Injured Reserve and never returning. The Eagles opened Ojulari’s practice window in January but he remained on IR.

There were some expectations when the Eagles signed the former second-round pick from the Giants. While he had struggled to stay healthy in New York, Ojulari was a productive player with 22 sacks in 46 games. But that just didn’t pan out in Philly.

Ojulari was one of three veteran edge rushers the Eagles had on the roster to start last season on one-year deals, along with Joshua Uche and Ogbo Okoronkwo. Uche on Wednesday reportedly agreed to a deal with the Dolphins, while Okoronkwo remains a free agent.

Here’s a reminder of the Eagles’ who are leaving in free agency: OLB Jaelan Phillips (Panthers), WR Jahan Dotson (Falcons), LB Nakobe Dean (Raiders), S Reed Blankenship (Texans), OL Matt Pryor (Cardinals), QB Sam Howell (Cowboys), OL Brett Toth (49ers), OLB Joshua Uche (Dolphins), OLB Azeez Ojulari (Falcons)

The Eagles’ big loss in free agency was Phillips to the Panthers. They still need to add at that position.
