Every spring, cyclists and bike enthusiasts gather for the Philly Bike Expo, a weekend celebration of cycling culture, craftsmanship, and community.
The 2026 expo will take over the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City on March 14 and 15. Over two days, visitors can explore displays of custom-built bicycles, browse gear from industry exhibitors, attend seminars/demonstrations, and take part in different group activities.
One of the biggest highlights is the show floor, where independent frame builders and cycling companies will set up shop to display custom-built bicycles, vintage bikes, and the latest gear and accessories. Visitors can also peruse new products, speak directly with designers and manufacturers, and see how bicycle technology and craftsmanship both continue to evolve.
In addition to the exhibits, the expo offers educational and interactive experiences for attendees. Experts will lead seminars and workshops on different topics (think bike maintenance, training, safety, and adventure cycling), plus, the expo also includes demonstrations, group rides, and family-friendly activities like a kids’ riding area where younger cyclists can practice skills and learn more about biking.
Beyond the main exhibits, the Philly Bike Expo includes several unique features like smaller seminars and panel discussions that explore niche topics (like grassroots cycling advocacy, the process of designing handmade bicycle frames, and the growing popularity of bikepacking and long-distance touring).Â
These sessions allow attendees to hear directly from frame builders, engineers, and experienced riders who share technical knowledge and personal stories from the cycling world.
Tickets for the Philly Bike Expo are flexible, with one-day passes costing about $20 and two-day passes around $30 if purchased in advance, with slightly higher prices at the door. Admission includes access to the exhibit floor, seminars, demonstrations, and group rides, and children under 12 can attend for free. The expo’s official host hotel is the Residence Inn Philadelphia Center City, which will be offering discounted rooms throughout the weekend.
