A Greenfield Twp. man punched a local business owner in the face after being asked to leave his restaurant, according to a criminal complaint.
At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, Carbondale officers were called to Frank’s Place on Jefferson Street in Fell Twp. for the report of a disorderly man who refused to leave the establishment.
Responding officers found Dylan Kutch, 32, 134 Wagner Blvd., sitting outside in his truck in the parking lot and arrested him.
Officers then spoke with business owner Frank Cerminaro.
Cerminaro told officers Kutch came in earlier to see his ex-girlfriend, who was a member of the wait staff, and was asked to leave, according to the complaint.
Kutch left, but returned later and sat in one of the booths his ex-girlfriend was serving.
When he was asked to leave for a second time, he refused. He was asked to leave several times, police said.
Cerminaro then attempted to physically remove Kutch, and Kutch allegedly punched him in the face.
Kutch is charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He remains in Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 18 before District Judge Alyce Farrell.
