Flames that tore through at least three homes in the Nicetown/Tioga section of North Philadelphia, kept firefighters busy overnight, officials said.

According to fire officials, the incident began at about 3:47 a.m. on Wednesday when fire was reported at a property along the 3700 block of Park Avenue in the Nicetown/Tioga section of the city.

In just about a half hour, officials said, crews were able to bring the fire under control, but not before it burned through at least three rowhomes along the block.

Officials said all occupants were removed from the properties and no one was injured in this incident.

NBC10 was working to learn how many people may have been displaced by this incident.

And, officials said, a cause of the fire remains under investigation.
