A man is dead after authorities believe he was hit by a vehicle that fled the area in Allegheny County Wednesday night.Pittsburgh Police, Fire and EMS were called to the intersection of Davis Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood around 10:45 p.m. for an injured person.When they arrived, officials found a man lying in the street with a significant injury to his head. The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital where he later died. Officials say the injuries the man sustained are consistent with being hit with by vehicle. The Collision Investigation Unit is working to learn what happened.
