LIMESTONE TWP. – A 19-year-old New Bethlehem man faces drunk driving and other charges following a traffic stop along Deer Hollow Road in Limestone Township on Jan. 10 at 3:19 a.m.

Jason Arthur Megnin was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, purchase of alcoholic beverages by a minor and failure to stop at a stop sign.

While on patrol, state police reportedly observed a Kia Amanti weaving across the roadway, and going through the intersection with Grapevine Hill Road without stopping at the stop sign.

Once stopped, police said they smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Megnin, the driver. He reportedly failed sobriety testing, and was taken to Clarion Hospital where testing revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.128 percent

Charges against Megnin were filed Feb. 24 with the office of District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller.
