The historic State Theatre Center for the Arts, located in the heart of Easton, celebrated its 100th birthday on March 7. This milestone was commemorated with a party where invited members of the community honored 100 years of inspiration, entertainment, and community engagement.

“For the theatre’s 100th Season, beginning September 2026, we will announce new programs and reshape some of the company’s existing ones,” said State Theatre Vice President of Development Selena Lavonier. “Our first announcements include a new “Win the Season” raffle where one lucky individual will win two orchestra seats to each show in our 100th Season, and our growing partnership with Brown-Daub Family of Dealerships, who is our new Season Sponsor for the theatre’s centennial year.”

“Brown-Daub Family of Dealerships has a long and proud history with the State Theatre,” says the company’s President, Tom Daub. “When the theatre’s new Season Sponsorship was created, Brown-Daub was delighted to broaden its relationship with the theatre and become its first presenting partner.”

Additional highlights of the evening included a sneak-peek of the new 100th Season merchandise — limited-edition T-shirts and lanyards which will be available for purchase beginning this August — and the unveiling of Stage By Stage: The Archival Exhibit in the theatre’s Annex, which will welcome visitors throughout the year.

Announcements of premier 100th season performances were also revealed.

“For a century, the State Theatre has been where memories are made and shared across generations,” said State Theatre President and CEO Shelley Brown. “The 100th Season will continue the theatre’s mission to provide a stage to celebrate and explore the arts together.

“Some 100th Season highlights include An Evening with Itzhak Perlman, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson: The Search for Life in the Universe, and of course, the 25th Anniversary of the FREDDY Awards. We can’t wait to celebrate all year long with you!”
