The international Marco’s Pizza chain will open its first Lehigh Valley location next week.

The restaurant opens Monday at 2588 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township, according to Chris Burns, the franchisee alongside business partner John Praizner.

The restaurant will serve pizza, sandwiches, salads, wings and desserts. It will operate 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Another restaurant could open toward the end of next spring in Bethlehem, Burns added.

Founded in 1978, Marco’s Pizza operates over 1,200 locations across the United States, Mexico and the Bahamas, a news release said earlier this year.
