PennDOT is seeking opinions on a potential project that could bring an autonomous vehicle shuttle system to the Pittsburgh International Airport. According to PennDOT, the AV shuttle system would provide passenger transportation along a dedicated guideway. It would connect landside parking facilities, landside amenities and the new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport. Allegheny Airport Authority would be responsible for implementing the project and associated infrastructure.
