BATH BOROUGH, Pa. – State police are investigating a large fight that temporarily closed a neighborhood in Northampton County on Thursday.
Troopers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Main Street in Bath Borough for reports of gun shots in the area, according to a news release.
Upon arrival, it was determined that no shots were fired, but that 15-20 juveniles got into a physical altercation that involved a car that was in the road, according to police.
During this investigation, State Route 512 between Mill Street and Main Street was closed. The roads have since been reopened.
The Troop M K-9 and Troop M Forensic Service Unit assisted at the scene.
A resident that lives in the area says that the front of their house is blocked off because there is blood on the ground. Pedestrians in the immediate area were also told to vacate the vicinity.
This incident remains under investigation by the Troop M Bethlehem Criminal Investigation Unit, according to officials.
