Crab bisque soup sale: Meals on Wheels of NEPA is partnering with Cooper’s Seafood House for a one-day crab bisque soup sale March 26, pickup from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., with a goal to sell out all 800 quarts to support the growing demand for meals in our community. Spring book sale: Friends of the Valley Community Library’s spring book sale, April 17, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and April 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 739 River St., Peckville. Patrons may fill a provided bag on Saturday for $5 from noon-2 p.m. There will be a special presale for Friends of the Library members only April 16 from 4-7 p.m. Purchase a membership at the door for $10 individual/$15 families. The book sale will be held inside the library. Items for sale include fiction and nonfiction books, young adult and children’s books, puzzles and more. Prices vary from 25 cents to $2.
