Jeffrey S. Honkus, 62, of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 6, 2026.
Born November 9, 1963, in Pittsburgh, he was raised in Hopewell Township and was the son of Luana Honkus and the late Stanley Honkus. Â Jeff was a graduate of Hopewell High School, class of 1981, and earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. Â He worked as a pharmacist for many years, a profession that reflected his desire to help others.
Jeff was hardworking, fun-loving, and generous man whose personality could fill a room. Â He had a natural gift for connecting with people and was well known for creating nicknames for just about everyone he spent time with all through his life.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Luana Honkus; his siblings, Mark Honkus, Beth (Keith) Wamsley, and  Greg (Jen) Honkus; and his nephews and nieces, Stephen Honkus, Matthew Honkus, David Honkus, Kailin Wamsley, Grace Honkus, and Jackson Honkus. Jeff also shared 28 years with Jennifer Marcin.
Jeff will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
