A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia near Temple University’s campus on Saturday evening, police said.

Officers arrived at the area of North 8th and West Berks Street at around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, police said.

There, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:29 p.m., police said.

No suspects or arrests have been announced, but the scene remains active as of 8 p.m. on Saturday.
