The City of Erie is asking community members to weigh in on what worries them about the current housing situation—and to share their ideas for future housing strategies. People showed up with plenty to say. Dozens of neighbors gathered at the Quality of Life Learning Center this afternoon.

This was the second of two listening sessions aimed at shaping Erie’s long‑term housing plans. The city is learning what’s working, what’s not, and what families need to stay housed.

For both renters and organizers, the message was clear: affordability and stability are top priorities. The city is using a consultant to develop the housing plan. Mayor Daria Devlin’s administration will use today’s feedback to guide future housing policies and programs.
