Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Shiner, Scranton, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married March 13, 1976, in Asbury United Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Brooks.
They were attended by Loren Dale Jones, best man, and Arlene M. Maros, maid of honor.
Gary and Lenore are happily retired. They currently attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Clarks Summit.
The couple has two children, Jennifer A. Suchecki, Archbald, and Carla M. Salvaggio, Scranton. They also have two grandchildren, Kyle M. Suchecki, Archbald, and Dylan J. Salvaggio, Scranton.
They are marking the occasion with a cruise to the Bahamas in May, and a family dinner is also planned to celebrate their 50 years.
