OBITUARY

Walter H. Weidman, Jr. 65, of Cresco, Northampton Co., passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter H., Sr. and Virginia M. (James) Weidman. Walt was a 1978 graduate of Hamburg

Area High School. He worked at Fine Wine & Good Spirits, Cresco, retiring on August 15, 2025.

Walt is survived by his sons: Jeffrey M. Weidman and his life partner Kyra Sidwell, Pottstown; and Joseph J. Weidman and his wife Bethany Weidman,

Pottstown; two grandchildren: Malia J. Weidman and Everett J. Weidman; and two sisters: Audrey K. Hess, Hamburg; and Sheryl L. Yoder,

North Carolina.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. John’s (Gernant’s) Cemetery, Gernant’s Church Road, Leesport.
