POTTSTOWN, Pa. – A good Samaritan who stopped to help after witnessing a crash on Route 100 was struck by another vehicle himself late Sunday morning.

According to 911 dispatchers, the call came in around 11:14 a.m. for an incident on Route 100 northbound near the Route 422 on‑ramp. Authorities say two vehicles were involved in the initial collision.

Three people were taken to the hospital. Police say among the injured was a man who had witnessed the crash and attempted to assist those involved. As he stepped out of his car, he was hit by a third vehicle approaching the scene.

Officials have not released the conditions of the victims or details about what led to the crash.
