New details have been released about the construction of the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Erie County Stadium Corporation met Monday morning. Officials on that board confirm that work is nearly 90% complete.

Right now, the substantial completion date is still set for July 1. At that point, the state will accept ownership of the property via a land transfer.

“The county, the Bills and the state are all working together on what the role out will be for a ribbon cutting and getting folks in there,” said Steven Ranalli, president of the Erie County Stadium Corporation. “They have pre-season games and a red and blue game — all of those events are expected to happen in the stadium. We’re working on it; we will get back to you shortly.”

Everything is slated to be done on site before Aug. 1
