The 2026 Patricia S. Yahn ’50 Juried Student Art Show is being displayed at the Cummings Art Gallery at Mercyhurst University. The exhibit will be available now until March 27.
The show honors Yahn a Mercyhurst alumna and devoted patron of the arts. Student wok was selected by guest juror Indiana University of Pennsylvania Professor of Painting and Foundations Ivan Fortushniak. Fortushniak awarded individual awards to each students’ work that fit the criteria.
A reception for the exhibit will be held on March 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Individual awards will be given during the reception with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with three honorable mentions and a photography excellence award will be given from a collective cash prize of $1500.00.
The reception and general admission to the museum are free and open to the public. Operation hours for the gallery are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
