Nicholas P. Rosato
OBITUARY
Nicholas P. Rosato, 90, of Allentown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at Atria Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Bangor, PA, on May 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (Kristof) Rosato.
Before he retired in 2011, Nicholas was employed as a Bridge Superintendent for the County of Lehigh in Allentown, PA. He also held various positions in the steel industry throughout his professional life. He was a 1953 graduate of Bangor High School.
An avid hiker and kayaker, Nicholas was an active member of the Allentown Hiking Club and the Lehigh Valley Canoe Club. During his lifetime, he hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and ran the New York City Marathon.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Rosato Perea, wife of Juan; his son, Daniel P. Rosato; his sister, Sheila Reed; his brother, Kenny Rosato; and his granddaughter, Jessica Rosato-Wyan. Nicholas was predeceased by his brother, Les Rosato, and his stepmother, Teresa Rosato.
Private graveside services will be held at North Bangor Cemetery in Bangor, PA, and a Celebration of Life will be held later this year. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gafnney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., “Village of Johnsonville,” Bangor, PA.
