A Bath man has been charged with having nearly 1 pound of illegal drugs in his residence, Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta said Friday.
Kevin C. Kratzer, 60, will face court action on two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, and three misdemeanors: two counts of possession of controlled substances and a single count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a news release, Baratta said authorities arrested Kratzer on Wednesday after seizing 200 grams of methamphetamines and 175 grams of marijuana while executing a search warrant at his residence.
The approximate street value of the drugs is nearly $4,000, Baratta said.
Kratzer was arraigned Wednesday by Magisterial District Judge Alicia Zito and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $125,000 bail. He was released Friday after posting bail, court records show.
No attorney was listed representing Kratzer as of Friday.
Members of the Northampton County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police executed the search warrant, Baratta said.
