Constance ‘Connie’ Leavesley
OBITUARY
Constance Connie Leavesley of South Abington Township died Thursday morning at Geisinger CMC Scranton. Her widower is Charlie Leavesley.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth Smith. After graduating York College, she worked as a Medical Secretary.
Also surviving are a son, Bret Leavesley and wife Sarah of Clarks Summit; a daughter, Heather Hemmerly and husband Fred of Old Forge; two grandchildren, Cameron and Hunter Leavesley; a sister, Carol Ann Saar of Chinchilla and a brother, William Smith.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Smith; and two sisters, Carole Granville and Claudia Rebuth.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21st,at 3 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State, Clarks Summit. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter or the donor’s favorite charity.
