DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. – A viewing for the Pennsylvania State Police Corporal who was killed in the line of duty earlier this month is set for Tuesday.
The viewing for Cpl. Timothy O’Connor will be held 4:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Downingtown.
A funeral service will take place Wednesday.
O’Connor was shot and killed while responding to a report of an erratic driver in West Caln Township.
Police say he stopped the vehicle at Route 10 and Michael Road, and within seconds of approaching it, Jesse Elks opened fire, killing O’Connor.
Authorities say Elks then took his own life.
