FISHTOWN (WPVI) — Forest & Main has been an award-winning craft brewer based in Ambler since 2012. Dane DeMarco has been nominated for a James Beard Award for the food created over a career in many different kitchens. Together, they are bringing their brands to the Snack Shack at Forest & Main in Fishtown.
DeMarco handles the kitchen with approachable unique dishes throughout the menu like a pork roll cheesesteak, a giant pretzel with a house topping and a fry flight to match the beer atmosphere.
Forest & main provides the drinks with a range of craft beers and different style taps to deliver their goods. There are cocktails and ciders from local makers and a takeout refrigerator if you want to bring anything home that you like.
This is the first venture for both in the Fishtown neighborhood.
