Officials are investigating a case of possible neglect at a group home in Spring Brook Township.
The county Area on Aging notified the state police of the suspected neglect case a the Beacon Group Home at 21 Joni Drive, on March 5.
A 63-year-old woman was transferred to Geisinger Community Medical Center where she was admitted to the intensive care unit, according to a state police release.
The investigation is ongoing.
