Two injured in early Saturday shooting in Scranton

Two people were injured during a shooting early Friday, according to Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher.

Officers responded to Big Daddy’s Lounge, 1608 Cedar Ave., on Saturday around 1:35 a.m. for a report of shots fired, police said.

The incident is one of two shootings reported in the city over the weekend.

Additionally, police responded to Regional Hospital of Scranton on Jefferson Avenue on Sunday around 2:28 a.m. for the report of a gunshot victim.

The investigations are ongoing.
