BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem Catholic announced on Tuesday that head boys basketball coach Scott McClary is retiring after leading the Golden Hawks program since 2018.
During McClary’s tenure the program recorded more than 100 wins – highlighted by an EPC Tournament Championship in the 2021–22 season – and a pair of District XI titles.
In a statement, McClary said while he’s proud of the wins and championships, he’s even more proud of the young men who came through the program.
After more than 30 years in coaching, McClary is stepping away to spend more time with his family and support his son Parker who plans to play basketball at Susquehanna University.
