LEVITTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — A southern fried chicken franchise recently confirmed it will be opening its first-ever restaurant in Pennsylvania later this month.

abc27 news reported back in August 2025 when the Georgia-based Zaxbys first confirmed plans to open their first location in Pennsylvania, although at the time did not share where or when the restaurant would debut.

According to Zaxbys, this new restaurant will be opening its doors at 8333 US-13 in Levittown, Bucks County on Monday, March 23. It will be owned and operated by seasoned franchisee George Abdelmessiehm.

This new restaurant will offer Zaxbys extensive menu of bold flavors, including the company’s Chicken Fingerz™, wings, Zalads® and 12 signature sauces.

Furthermore, the restaurant in Levittown will offer delivery services through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub.

To celebrate this opening, Zaxbys says they will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at some point in April 2026, featuring prizes and giveaways.

Zaxbys, which is now headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, was first founded back in 1990. Today the company boast over 950 locations in 17 states.
