The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple will hold its fourth annual Curtain Call fundraiser April 9 from 6-8 p.m. The project-based fundraiser aims to benefit a new endeavor each year. Previous projects include a new ballroom curtain, upgraded microphones (largely benefiting the SCC Youth Theatre Program) and sound system improvements, while this year’s event aims to raise funds for improved and energy-efficient stage lighting, as well as curtains for rooms on the center’s second floor. The evening will feature entertainment by Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax, Ken McGraw and the SCC Youth Theatre Program as well as food by Constantino’s Catering, a premium open bar and a raffle. Tickets are $100/person and $125/patron. Full details can be found at SCCMT.org/CurtainCall or by calling 570-344-1111.
