PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team has a busy schedule this week as Penn is hosting matches against Monmouth and Quinnipiac on Thursday at the Hecht Tennis Center. Then on Sunday, the Quakers will head down to Norfolk, Virginia for a match against Old Dominion. Penn completed their Oklahoma road trip last week with a 4-1 win against Tulsa. They then returned to Philadelphia and defeated Denver at the Hamlin Tennis Center on Sunday, 6-1. Penn hopes to extend this winning streak this week.

* Penn won two of three doubles matches and three of four singles matches against Tulsa for a final score of 4-1.
*Penn dropped two of three doubles matches against Denver, but won all singles matches for a 6-1 win.
* Penn’s other Singles victor was Justin Chung winning 6-4, 6-2.
* Penn did not lose a single set in singles against Denver. Shaurya Bharadwaj and Aaron Sandler also had their second doubles victory for the week.
