Spring has officially arrived in Philadelphia—and Evil Genius Beer Company is kicking things off the right way. The beloved Fishtown brewery is welcoming warmer days with the return of its “Sprung!” Block Party, taking over the 1700 block of North Front Street under the El on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from Noon to 6:00pm.

After months of cold, gray winter days, this no‑charge, family‑ and dog‑friendly celebration invites the entire community to come together, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy everything that makes Philly springtime special. The party will take place just outside Evil Genius’ taproom at 1727 N. Front Street, transforming the block into a lively hub of beer, food, music, and local vendors.

Guests can expect fresh brews flowing from Evil Genius’ outdoor beer tent, along with beats from DJ Drini to keep the energy high all afternoon. When hunger strikes, MooCheeze Food Truck will be serving up Instagram‑worthy eats to pair perfectly with your pint.

The block party also highlights some of Philly’s favorite local makers and shops. Attendees can browse curated sunglasses from Eyerock Sunglasses, Philly sports‑themed apparel from Cracked Bell, and hand‑crafted jewelry from Lily Lough Jewelry and Alien Bratz. Shoppers can also check out Bold and Broad for décor, explore curated finds from Out of Time Vintage, and get a little sparkle at the Lunar Sparkles Glitter Bar.

There’s something for everyone—including kids and pets. Vamvaki Gifts will offer adorable plushies for little ones, while Brixxy & Co. brings custom dog bandanas so four‑legged guests can join the fun in style.

After a long winter, Evil Genius is excited to bring some much‑needed cheer back to the neighborhood. “‘Sprung!’ is all about shaking off the winter blues and embracing the energy and joy of the new season,” said Trevor Hayward, co‑founder of Evil Genius Beer Company. “We’re throwing this block party to reconnect with our neighbors and create a space where everyone can enjoy the return of warmer weather.”

Founded in 2011 by best friends Trevor Hayward and Luke Bowen, Evil Genius Beer Company has become known for its “Very Silly Names for Very Serious Beers.” Today, their brews can be found across Philadelphia and in nine states.
