Roads in Lower Saucon Township reopen after being closed due to storm damage | Bethlehem Area

LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – The Lower Saucon Township Police Department says the roadways that were closed from Monday night’s storm have since reopened.

Roads that had been closed:

2500 blk Redington Rd tree/wires. PPL/Verizon notified.VERIZON currently working on scene and should be open soon, according to police

Ringhoffer between Sherry Hill and Applebutter Rd. Damaged pole/low wires. PPL notified.

03-17-2026 7:37 a.m. – Green Acre Dr. between Country Rd. and Linden Oaks Ln., tree down

3-17-2026 7:27 a.m. – Saucon Valley Rd. between Bingen Rd. and Apple Tree Lane, wires, PPL notified

3-16-2026 – Bingen between Old Mill and Reading. Tree/wires. PPL notified.

3-16-2026 – Ringhoffer between Sherry Hill and Applebutter Rd. Damaged pole/low wires. PPL notified.

3-16-2026 – 2500 blk Redington Rd. tree/wires. PPL notified.

3-16-2026 – Riverside Drive, trees down, no wires. 2000 block (can detour around) and 2200 block (no detour, past Jefferson). PennDot notified.
