The Erie SeaWolves have decided to not host a signature America250 event. The event was discussed for July 4 as part of the America250 celebration. However, this decision had not yet been finalized to host the event.
The SeaWolves had been collaborating with the City of Erie, Erie Events, the Erie Philharmonic, and the Erie Playhouse in the previous months to discuss potential events.
While not participating the Erie SeaWolves have shared their gratitude for all of the other organizations that have worked hard to ensure the America250 celebration can still be spectacular.
The Erie Philharmonic and the Erie Playhouse have decided to continue planning for other programs for America250 that will be in collaboration with the city. These events are still in planning and information about this programming will be released at a later date.
