8th graders from Old Forge Junior/Senior High honed their entrepreneurial skills at the University of Scranton on Thursday.
SCRANTON, Pa. — Students in Lackawanna County gained a deeper understanding of innovation on Thursday.
The University of Scranton hosted 8th graders from Old Forge Junior/Senior High School to expand upon their entrepreneurial skills.
The students took a tour of the Idea Center and then worked in teams to design and develop small business ideas.
“I am hoping to learn how to put my ideas out in the world and not to be nervous during interviews or a pitch,” said Ansel Perniciaro.
The students later presented their ideas to their classmates.
