PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Women who are making a difference in the Philadelphia area were honored at the Betsy Ross House Thursday morning.
The 2nd annual “Betsy Awards” Women’s History Month Breakfast recognized women whose creativity, leadership and dedication reflect the revolutionary and entrepreneurial spirit of Betsy Ross.
This year’s honorees included Virginia Jarvis Whelan, founder of Filaments Conservation Studio.
WXPN’s “Kids Corner” host Kathy O’Connell received the first-ever Betsy lifetime achievement award.
