Christian A. Robey, of Franconia Twp. and formerly of Perkasie, PA, and Long Neck, DE, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home. He was 71.
He was the loving husband of Lisa A. (Reynolds) Robey. The couple had celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary on March 31, 2025.
Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Edwin A. and Edna Jane (Ford) Robey. He was a 1973 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.
He was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served as a culinary specialist on the USS George C. Marshall submarine during his enlistment from 1973 until 1977, attaining the rank of Petty Officer. He continued his service with the U. S. Naval Reserves as a chef and cook until his honorable discharge in 1982.
Chris was employed as a forklift driver with the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes, Souderton, PA. Previously, he was employed doing machine maintenance for MDCI, Hatfield, PA, for 10 years until retiring there in 2018. He also had worked as a cook for the former Casey’s Saloon & Eatery, Hatfield, for many years.
Chris will be remembered as a very hard worker, at times working two jobs. He especially loved his children and grandchildren, and his pets.
He loved watching the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Chicago Bears, but golfing was his favorite pastime. He was active in the Twin Woods Golf League, Hatfield, PA, and formerly with the Cannoneers Sportsmens Club & Golf League, Lansdale, PA. An outdoors enthusiast, he was particularly fond of going to the beach and collecting a myriad of items.
Surviving with his wife are three children, Justin Reynolds, of Pennsburg, PA, Megan Robey, of Lansdale, PA, and Tyler Robey, of Souderton, PA; and four grandchildren, Jaden, Gabe, Amiya and Landon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Rodgers.
