Erie SeaWolves a Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers have announced that Zach Surdenik will be the team’s play-by-play broadcaster during the 2026 season.
Surdenik has 350 games of play-by-play experience on radio, television, and streaming platforms. Most recently he was the play-by-play broadcaster and media relations contact for the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Detroit Tigers’ Single-A affiliate. His debut comes Opening Night on April 3 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
Greg Gania will hand over his roll to Surdenik but fans can still hear him on-air as part of the Detroit Tigers Radio Network for select games.
