Aubrey Mizenko had a pair of doubles and a triple and drove in three runs to help lead Dunmore past West Scranton, 15-5, in a nonleague high school softball game Thursday.

Rachel Walsh, who homered, had three hits and three RBIs, and Kylie Farr had three doubles for the Lady Bucks.

Emily McGowan, who doubled, Nancy Mecca, Jackie Brown and Ava Walsh each had two hits for Dunmore.

Laney Mackie had two hits, including a double, and Mia Tallo doubled and drove in three for the Lady Invaders.

North Pocono 20, Wilkes-Barre Area 0: A 12-run third inning propelled North Pocono past Wilkes-Barre Area on Thursday.

Amelia Bell had three hits, including a home run, and four RBIs, and Riley Grambo homered, doubled and knocked in five to lead the Lady Trojans’ charge.

Isabella Forgione and Olivia Charles each contributed three hits, including a double, while Anna Clementoni and Avarie Roscioli each had two hits and a double.

Tunkhannock 15, Mid Valley 8: MaKenzie Bevan ripped three home runs and had eight RBIs as Tunkhannock won a nonleague high school softball game Thursday.

Taryn Newswanger was 3 for 4 with two home runs and three RBIs. Kianna Hannon had two hits and two RBIs, while Michaela Howell added a home run.

Angela Laskowski and Ava Hazelton homered for the Spartanettes. Laskowski had three hits and Hazelton had two hits.

Baseball

Nick Bohenek had three hits, including a hoe run, and drove in three runs, and also picked up the win, allowing one hits and striking out six over four innings as Riverside defeated Pine Grove, 6-5, in a nonleague high school baseball game Thursday.

Jason Posluszny had two hits and Chris Graff and Ben Kulikowski each doubled for the Vikings.

Elk Lake 20, Wyalusing 2: Cohen Orlandini drove in five runs on two hits to lead Elk Lake past Wyalusing in a nonleague game Thursday.

Alden Felker, Lucas Benscoter and Stephen Newhart each had two hits for Elk Lake.

Wilkes-Barre Area 5, Wallenpaupack 4: At Wilkes-Barre, the Wolfpack scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn the nonleague win.

WBA had seven hits, two each from Koleton Davies and Nathan Fritz. Davis and Dalton Flowers each added doubles and Jack Kapelan threw two innings of relief to get the victory.

JJ Blaum had three hits for the Buckhorns.

Wyoming Seminary 3, Carbondale Area 2: At Seminary, the Blue Knights had just three hits, but scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull out the win.

Ryan Finley had two of the three Seminary hits. John Comitz picked up in the win in relief, striking out three in the final two innings.

Xander Kiel had Carbondale Area’s only hit. Parker Smith pitched five innings, allowing one hit and striking out nine.

Girls lacrosse

Allie Rothenberger had four goals and two assists, and Morgan Davis scored four goals and an assist, leading Abington Heights to a 19-1 win over Lewisburg in a nonleague girls lacrosse match on Thursday.

Olivia Kim added three goals and an assist, while Brooklyn Yankow had two goals and an assist for the Lady Comets (1-0).

Boys volleyball

Jake Brown had 13 kills and Michael Rosa had 15 service points, leading Blue Ridge to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-12, 25-5) win over Mountain View in a Lackawanna League match on Thursday night.

Riley Phillips contributed 17 assists and had three aces, and Landen Bishop had five kills for Blue Ridge (3-0).

Cameron Ferris had eight assists and Gavin Travis had four kills for Mountain View (0-1).

Nanticoke Area 3, Western Wayne 0: Zachary Zubritski had 16 kills and Ethan Yendrzeiwski added 12 kills, leading the Trojans to a nonleague win.

Brayden Isaacs ran the offense with 30 assists and Seth Piontkowski had 10 service points for Nanticoke Area (1-1).
