The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia will return to Fairmount Park on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29. It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Horticulture Center and Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center.
The festival celebrates the cherry tree blooming and features entertainment across multiple stages, a new food court and beer garden behind the Horticulture Center, and a broad lineup of live music and traditional Japanese performances.
Highlights include a cosplay fashion show on Saturday, a Japanese alternative fashion show on Sunday, a Golden Crown New Year’s Mummers Brigade performance, and the “Prettiest in Pink” pet parade. Japanese tea ceremonies, calligraphy, ikebana, karaoke, origami, and storytelling are also part of the experience.
According to a PhillyVoice report, a vendor market, artist alley, and a Japanese/Asian cuisine-focused food offerings will be featured, with additional programming spread across multiple venues within the site. Organizers have expanded the festival’s footprint this year, following more than 25,000 attendees in 2025.
Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the gate, with free entry for children younger than 12. Parking is $10 per vehicle at the Mann Center. The event is family-friendly and dog-friendly, and it will take place rain or shine.
