Engaged couples looking to kick‑start their wedding planning in one unforgettable evening are invited to fall in love with Old City all over again. The 5th Annual Old City Wedding Stroll returns on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, transforming Philadelphia’s most historic square mile into an open‑air wedding showcase featuring 40+ venues, vendors, and retailers.

Free to attend with required registration, the Wedding Stroll offers couples a rare opportunity to accomplish what usually takes months—meeting top wedding professionals, touring venues, sampling menus, trying on attire, and gathering expert advice—all within a few walkable blocks.

“Old City’s evolution into Philadelphia’s premier wedding planning destination reflects what couples want: convenience, choice, and charm all in one neighborhood,” said Job Itzkowitz, Executive Director of Old City District. From boutique hotels and historic landmarks to salons, jewelers, and restaurants expanding into bridal services, the Wedding Stroll showcases just how much the neighborhood has grown.

Throughout the evening, attendees can explore bridal and formalwear options from shops like Lovely Bride, Mari Mi Bridal, Mari Mi Couture, Demure Bridal Boutique, Bella Bridesmaids, SuitShop, and more—offering everything from couture gowns and vintage finds to custom suiting for all genders. Couples can also tour a wide range of venues, including the Betsy Ross House courtyard, Arch Street Meeting House, boutique hotels like Lokal Hotel and The Gas Lamp Hotel, and full‑service event spaces at Philadelphia Marriott Old City and Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown.

Food lovers will enjoy tastings and consultations from some of Old City’s most beloved restaurants, including Royal Boucherie, Fork, Cuba Libre, Positano Coast, Panorama Wine Bar, and Franklin Fountain, which offers ice cream catering as a sweet alternative to traditional wedding cake. The stroll also features floral design, beauty and styling, invitations and stationery, jewelry and rings, registry and favors, and even pet wedding services for couples planning to include their four‑legged family members.

New for 2026, the event welcomes exciting additions such as The Cacao Pod, 117 Restaurant & Brewery, Mari Mi Couture’s new location, and Opportunity Barks’ wedding‑specific dog training services. Registered guests will receive a complimentary Welcome Bag and be automatically entered to win a Grand Prize valued at over $3,000, featuring hair and makeup trials, gift certificates, a tungsten wedding band, floral arrangements, and more.

Registration, event maps, and full details are available on the event website. Whether you’re just starting to plan or finalizing the details, the Old City Wedding Stroll offers inspiration, expertise, and unforgettable moments—all in one night.
